I am a PhD student in the College of Computing and Informatics at the University of North Carolina Charlotte (began Fall 2015). I'm doing research in the HCI lab advised by Dr. Celine Latulipe.
I graduated from Wellesley in 2014 with a major in Computer Science and a minor in Music. Between graduating Wellesley and starting at UNCC, I worked as a Research Fellow in the Wellesley HCI lab, led by Dr. Orit Shaer. At Wellesley, we explored novel interaction techniques, specifically when applied to collaborative learning situations. During my time as a student at Wellesley, I worked with Dr. Franklyn Turbak on blocks programming languages with emphasis on improving their expressability and usability.
