Janaki Vivrekar

MS (alum)

Janaki is a EECS graduate student at UC Berkeley, where she is studying human-computer interaction and new media. Her interests range from designing inclusive educational experiences to creating novel sensory interactions in natural and culinary spaces. In her work, she explores creative expressions of contemporary social and ethical issues related to accessibility.

In May 2020, Janaki graduated from UC Berkeley with a double major in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Data Science. She also completed the UC Berkeley Human-Centered Design Course Thread, the Undergraduate Certificate in New Media, the Berkeley Certificate in Design Innovation, and the Sutardja Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Technology.
